Terms and Conditions

Understanding these terms.

In these terms and conditions, the following words have the following meanings:

The Agreement refers to the agreement between the School and the client and incorporates these Terms and Conditions. Upon agreeing a booking, it is implied that you accept these terms and conditions.

The Instructor is the named instructor that we book your lessons with.

The Client is the person identified within this agreement, usually the person who will be taking lessons with the instructor.

Training refers to driving lessons or other driver related training agreed by the parties to be provided by the School to the Client. The duration and frequency of this training will be confirmed between the partied before training begins.

Price is the price per hour and is agreed before training commences. This price may change from time to time, and will be notified to the Client by the School before any price change is applied.

Agreed price for Driving Test is the fee that the school will charge the Client for the use of the School Vehicle for the duration of the test as set out in this agreement.

School refers to HEIDI HORN DRIVING SCHOOL.

School Vehicle is the car provided by the School, in which the client will take the training session.


TRAINING:

The School will provide training to the Client, for an agreed Price. The time, date and price and pick-up address will be agreed at least 24 hours in advance by the Client and the School. If changes are requested less than 24 hours before the agreed training time, the School will try to accomodate them. However, if his is not possible, the Client may be charged the full price of the training session. The instructor is bound by a professional code of conduct and will be courteous, polite, tidy and subject to matters outside of his/her control, punctual at all times. The School will only provide instructors who are approved and fully licensed by the Driving and Vehicle Standards agency.

Training with Trainee Instructors:

We will sometimes offer training with a trainee instructor, who has completed 2 of their 3 qualifying exams, has received at least 40 hours of professional training in the provision of driving tuition and is building experience, before taking their final exam. This is of beefit to the Client, because the trainee has the most up to date information and training methods at their fingertips. This training is usually offered at a slightly lower price than with our fully qulaified instructors. Every trainee instructor is moniored for quality control purposes and has the supervision of a fully qualified instructor, who is able to mentor them and offer additional advice to our Clients.


Client Obligations:

The Client must hold a full or provisional valid driving licence, which must be produced on or in advance of the first Training Session, to the Instructor. They must also be able to read a UK number plate at a distance of 20.5 metres. This can be with glasses or lenses if these are normally worn and will always be used for driving. The Client must always be in a fit and proper conditon to drive and at no point be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or any other substane that may impair their ability to drive, during a Session. Ifthe Instructor deems the Cliet not to be in a fit and proper state, they will terminate the Training Session in the interests of public safety and no refund will be given.
